We are making “Hanbi” with pure Korean rice, hand-grown ogapi, and Korean rice malt as the main ingredients. After hard work, we continue to develop traditional methods infused with the wisdom of our ancestors to produce and sell distilled spirits that are like precious treasures from heaven.

“Hanbi” reflects the meaning of a drink containing the vision of Korea and the wisdom of oriental medicine based on the spirit of Heo Jun, the author of <Donguibogam>. In other words, I would like to express “Hanbi” as the crystallization of a strong wish to restore energy to this nation in difficult times, rather than being an alcoholic beverage.

All executives and employees of the Jecheon Herbal Medicine Farming Association are working hard to produce traditional liquor of the highest quality based on all the clean nature of Jecheon, such as clean water, air, soil, and wind.

How is Korean whiskey Hanbi made?

Anax Biopolis Korea is a union which produces, manufactures and sells medicinal herbs cultivated organically in Jecheon, a region of fresh wind and bright moon. As a whole, we possess 200,000㎡ of farm land in Jecheon and is the only business to have the acanthopanax senticosus GAP certified.
By developing products made from acanthopanax senticosus and producing a variety of products, we have diversified consumerism while increasing income for farms and unions by stabilizing production of high valued regional products to support the regional economy.

Hanbi rice soju

Hanb rice Soju is an alcoholic beverage made by aging distilled grain wine after fermenting rice in the old way. The true taste of mild and soft traditional soju has been reproduced. In addition, only godubap and nuruk using domestic rice are used, and there are no chemical additives for flavor and taste, so there is no hangover even with high alcohol content, and the taste is clean.

Hanbi Ginseng Liquor

Hanbi Ginseng Liquor offer original savor by aging distilled rice wine and ginseng. It starts with strong bitter taste, but it has smooth gulp and leaves no residual taste in the mouth, giving a neat flavor.

Also, ginseng is aged with distilled soju along with Korean wild ginseng, eradicating indecent odor and offering natural odor of ginseng.

 

Hanbi Wild Ginseong Liquor

Hanbi Wild Ginseng Liquor is traditional liquor made by aging distilled rice wine and 10-year old eco-friendly Korean wild ginseng root together. Korean wild ginseng used in making the whiskey is the only one to be accredited Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) and contains 6 times more medicinal substance than chinese wild ginseng.  Furthermore, we only used hard rice made with Korean rice and malt. Also we used no chemical additives for scent and taste with no hangover despite high alcohol content. Its gently radiating fragrance of cool  peppermint and pine is breathtaking. Unique sweetness and tang of aged liquor smoothly soaks your tongue and sharp aftertaste is follows by electrifying sensation to neck.

Hanbi Vital Liquor is made by aging 5 fruits(schizandra, chinese matrimony vine, raspberry, asian plantain seed, dodder, and cornus fruit) and Korean wild ginseng in traditionally distilled rice wine, offering a rich, smooth taste and fragrance of herb.

Hanbi Hericium Erinaceus Liquor

Hanbi Hericium Erinaceus Liquor is made by aging lion’s mane mushroom, Korean wild ginseng, and cornus fruit in distilled rice wine, offering soft, rich savor. Lion’s mane mushroom contains substance that activates neurodevelopmental substance and helps prevent aging and Alzheimer’s, recover fatigue, and promote skeletal development.
